Look Analysis: Camel, Menswear-Inspired, Boots

Let's do a look analysis, shall we?

Here we have, ladies and gentleman, Hailey Baldwin on the street in this ensemble. This look kind of stuck out for me and embodies a very menswear-inspired look, which is a style I can completely get behind on. I love menswear-inspired outfits and pieces and this one kind of nails it in a multitude of ways, without being overly done. There are a few pieces that add to it's relative sportiness and casual vibe.

So a couple of trends I'm seeing here.

1. The Camel Color:

This is a trend that I have been seeing coming out this Fall. This all-over camel/beige/tan color seems to be a popular neutral to sport. It adds a casual notation to any outfit and I applaud the way this is pulled off.

2. The Long-Length jacket

I like the length of this jacket. Either that, or it's a regularly-sized jacket being sported on an average to shorter-side individual. Either way, it looks good on her and it hits just above the knees. It looks super comfortable and the detailing kind of lends itself to the menswear-inspiration that I mentioned earlier. You can purchase similar kinds and designs on asos.

3. Menswear-Inspiration Detail

Everything from the jacket to the boots add to the casual, menswear-inspiration. Boots, I'm seeing, are becoming a trend. The color of these seem to highlight the tan of her legs and the capture of the photo highlight the definition in her thighs. Also, they kind of give the impression that her legs are thinner than they actually are given the opening at the top of the boots. She looks like a woman ready to kick butt, with somewhere to be. Boots always gave me the impression that people are planning to be occupied or require it for heavy-duty work.

4. The Sweater Dress

So this one kind of confused me. I don't know if it's a sweater paired with a skirt underneath or if this is just one big sweater dress. The slight coloring kind of gives it the illusion that it is two different pieces, but I'm just going to assume it's a sweater dress of some sort. I like the loose fit of it, as well as the length.

Personally, I wonder if I sported this sweater dress if it would be too short. Hailey Baldwin stands, (according to Google), at 5'5. Standing at 5'11", it might be shorter on me, to the possible point of indecency, (but I never cared about that). Still, I like the look and like what's going on here with all the pieces and trends put together here.

Overall, this is a cute outfit. I'm not a fan of the sunglasses too much, but definitely props to her!
